A New Dawn, A New Day, A New Life, blah blah blah

So, my California Adventure came to a close (unfortunately for my flip flops and short sleeved tee's) and I have since headed back to New York City. I felt GREAT during the holidays, but somehow I am not as impervious to illness as I thought, and was hit in the face with a sinus infection/ear infection.

BLURGH.

I was losing steam.

While unpacking my luggage (that burns calories, I know it!) I came across my favorite Christmas present: A Sigg water bottle with my logo lovingly embossed on it's side. A gift from my boyfriend, this water bottle made me feel special. It made my business venture seem. . .legit. I AM FOSTER FITNESS. It's not just some pie in the sky (mmm, pie) venture that I came up with. It is the result of years of working out, years of sweat, years of tears and laughter and figuring out what works and what doesn't work and wanting to share that with others.

This water bottle is what my 2010 is all about.

It signifies that my business is as real as I make it. This year will mark many firsts and new milestones in my life: Getting my certification from ACE, getting a REAL gym job, leaving (fingers crossed) the restaurant industry for reals and embarking on this new and exciting path.

I am very optimistic. Join me. Won't you?

  4. Very cool! (found you through JackSh*t, btw)

I'm up in the air this year with what my professional life will hold (if only it was as easy as training for races, I'd be set!), so I feel ya. I'm hoping this is my year to really figure out what's next and take steps to get there. It's great inspiriation to me to see passionate people pursuing their dreams!

  5. Absolutely! The water bottle. Destiny! Or a sign. Okay, maybe what it really means is that your boyfriend is an awesome gift giver who adores you and supports your vision. And that's probably even more signficant.

Use that support as you propel Foster Fitness forward. I have NO doubt that 2010 will be your year Ali!
